Pistacchio & Caffè per My Baby Photo

E’ metà Novembre quando allestiamo il set di My Baby Photo, non fa freddo ma noi ascoltiamo musiche di Natale e mangiamo mandarini e spumiglie per sentirci “dentro” all’immaginario.

Quando Angela e Pier mi hanno chiamata ad Ottobre ne sono stata ovviamente felice, per il terzo anno consecutivo mi hanno investito della loro fiducia per quello che è uno dei loro momenti più importanti dell’anno.

Replicare, se non superare, il set del 2017 sarebbe stata una bella impresa, era piaciuto ed i clienti si erano divertiti davvero molto, quindi lo scopo era quello di creare un’atmosfera altrettanto ludica, ma… Volevo metterci un pizzico di magia in più.

Dapprima è stato il bosco, poi l’ora del te di Alice per arrivare infine alla MERENDA NEL BOSCO FATATO, un bosco vero, con tanto di tronchi di betulla, erba e foglie croccanti.

Un tavolo allestito con ogni leccornia, te caldo, latte, biscotti con gocce di cioccolato, spremute d’arancia e mele, una calda coperta (quella della mia infanzia, proprio quella) e sedie spaiate.

Mentre io, Anna e Carolina preparavamo il necessario e spostavamo millimetricamente alcuni oggetti dal set Pier provava le luci mentre Angela testava la macchinetta del fumo, perchè un bosco senza nebbiolina non può certo considerarsi fatato 😉

It’s the middle of November when we set up the set of mybabyphoto , it is not cold outside but we listen to christmas songs and we eat mandarins and meringue to feel into the mood.

When Angela and Pier called me in October I was clearly very happy about it because they trusted me for the third year in a row for what is one of their most important moments of the year. Replicating or overcoming the 2017 set would be a huge challenge, the clients liked it and they had a lot of fun so the aim was to create an atmosphere as playful as the other but… I wanted to add a little bit of magic.

In the first moment was the forest, then was Alice tea time to arrive at the end to the SNACK TIME IN THE FAIRY FOREST, a real forest with logs of birch, grass and crunchy leaves.

A set up table with every delicacy, hot tea, milk, chocolate biscuits, orange and apple juice, a warm blanket (the one of my childhood, that’s the one) and mismatched chairs.

While Anna, Carolina and me were preparing all the materials and were moving millimetrically some of the objects on set, Pier was trying the lights while Angela was testing the fog machine, because a forest without fog cannot be considered fairy. 😉
