We are talking about a totally exceptional house. A two room-apartment with a mezzanine, its owner? A collector! A client with whom we have celebrated and inaugurated at the end of the work with the best bottles of wine and spaghetti, a detail that I want to share.

Because it happens that some clients get attached to you, we get fond of them and they get fond of us. This project starts from the collaboration between two city realities,  the planning work of Areadocks and the colour consultant myself, Francesca Vizzari. The synergy between the two studies made possible winning a complicated challenge, furnishing a house with small square-footage through an accurate research of every single detail and the exploitation of the contrast of the vintage objects with modern furniture. The meticulous study of the palette has given balance to the numerous work of art of the owner, collector and art lover, who has seen his walls being transformed in a real art gallery.

AREADOCKS already studied all the furnishing and its distribution, we have been ordered  to find a colour that could wrap it all with character and originality. We obviously used Farrow&Ball colours , helping us also with a wallpaper COLE & SON that hides a custom made wardrobe and it divides two important rooms : the dining room and the living room. But the most interesting part in this collaboration was to be asked for advice on where to position every objects in order to make all the shapes and shades reach their full harmony. We believe and hope to have reached our aim.
